Kids say funny things as they learn to talk. Sometimes the word just sounds funny as it escapes their mouth the first few times. And sometimes the word they say has a different meaning than the word they are trying to say (Lars said "fork" without the "r" for quite a while.) And in this vein, our guys have made up some sniglets over the years. Haakon used one today which reminded me of this knack they have.
For instance:
Covereds. Covereds are actually cupboards. Cuz really, I can't see my glassware because its hiding behind the covereds.
Biter. A biter is really a spider. Again, it just makes sense.
Playgos- Those little plastic square pieces that you can push together to build stuff. Legos? Noooo. Playgos!!
Stuffelbag. Haakon was packing his clothes and toothbrush in his stuffelbag as he went to Yaya's today.
There's more. But Lars is in the bathtub. Gotta run.
